An evening in Brugge... with an amazing sunset and the lovely setup of the triangular Belgian houses in the background. Like every Belgian town, Brugge also offers you colourful triangular houses with exquisitely decorated facades, shops selling its famous fries, waffles, chocolates and of course, the famous Belgian beer.
Remember the Abbey Road crossing photograph of the Beetles? Well, this is my version! Seen here is a photograph from Palma de Mallorca in Spain. I was taking a long exposure shot of the dramatic clouds above and the moody sea below when these four persons decided to walk into my screen. A split second time to change the settings and here is what I got. Pretty thankful to these unsuspecting models and their colorful jackets!! :D
Like every other European city, the capital city of Estonia, Tallinn also has an astonishing Old Town. The astonishing look of the Old Town brings you back to the medieval times. The cobbled square and the conical houses around the Cathedral and the Town Hall complete the fantastic look. A lovely ambiance overall !
The Sibelius Monument of Helsinki, Finland is a sculpture dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. An unique design that looks like stylized organ pipes is officially titled 'Passio Musicae'. Here is a view of the sculpture from the bottom.
The two most famous landmarks of Singapore - the Marina Bay Sands Hotel (on the left) and the Supertree Grove (the metallic trees on the left, in the Garden by the Bay) - light up at the night. Although a very touristic spot, I really loved the nightscape. I wanted to take complete reflection but unfortunately, I did not have a wide lens. Hope to visit Singapore once more for its amazing cityscapes.

A cold, October evening in the Town Square of Tallinn. Always love the European Old Towns, with their cobbled streets, huge Cathedrals and Town Halls, surrounded by the medieval looking houses. Tallinn was no different. Fantastic architecture!
Standing tall in the middle of the city is the Cathedral of Helsinki. A distinctive landmark in the Helsinki cityscape, with its tall, green dome surrounded by four smaller domes. Given it was a cloudy rainy day, the monochrome version of this composition adds to the mood and majestic nature of this marvelous architecture.
The Red Church in Helsinki (officially named the Uspenski Cathedral) had a very different architecture and I really wanted to photograph this. But due to the time limitation, I could not think of a good composition. Luckily for me, there was a rainfall the previous day and lo and behold, in the front courtyard was a small puddle of still water. I found a perfect composition with a clear reflection. Hence, presenting the two Red Churches of Helsinki!
Inside the Venetian Loggia of Heraklion, Greece, looking up into the sly from the inner courtyard. Fantastic architecture, fantastic view (If you are lucky enough you will have an aeroplane fly over it)
A cold night, empty streets and the beautiful medieval European architecture. The only thing missing is probably a couple of cups of hot chocolates.
Christmas Markets are a very European thing. And what makes the Aachen Christmas Market is its location. A bunch of brightly lit shops serving warm wine and snacks, nestled between the medieval Cathedral and a 15th century Town Hall. Isn't this a wondrous sight?
Florence - the city of art, the birthplace of the Renaissance, and the home of the Masters like Michelangelo, Raphael, da Vinci, Dante, Vasari, Florence Nightingale and many more!! Not one single image can capture the beauty and essence that Florence cradles. However, we mortals can only try. Here is the amazing Florence Skyline at Dusk.
A magical evening spent in solitude, taking photographs of the iconic Jacques Cartier Bridge in Montreal.
The amazing skyline of Bratislava, from the top of the famous UFO Bridge. Seen here is the UFO Bridge leading to the old town, with the Bratislava Castle on the left and the Cathedral on the right.
This was not a planned photo. Certainly not with gear and setting I would have liked. Walking one evening walk after work, the sky just popped up!! Unbelieveable colors... amazing light... Lucky for me, I had my smaller camera with a walk-around lens. And this is the result. I just cannot get enough of this sky! What do you think?
